Italian tennis journalist and commentator Luca Fiorino has confirmed the ATP Cup will take place alongside two ATP 250 tournaments in the week leading into the 2021 Australian Open.
With the Australian Open all but confirmed to commence on February 8, the ATP Cup as well as two ATP 250 tournaments look set to be added to the Australian summer of tennis calendar in the lead up to the grand slam.
Players and their entourages are set to arrive in Melbourne on January 15 and will be required to complete a two week quarantine period, ending on January 29. This paves way for the three tournaments to run from January 30, through till February 7.
Details on how many teams will compete in the ATP Cup and the list sizes of the two ATP 250 tournaments are yet to be confirmed. An official announcement is yet to be made by the ATP Tour.
