Sharma and partner Vivian Heisen went down to Natela Dzalamidze and Kamilla Rakhimova 5-7, 7-6, 5-10 in a nailbiter. Inglis and her partner Samantha Sharann Murray were eliminated by Elena-Gabriela Ruse and Olga Danilovic 2-6, 7-6, 6-10.
In other news, Tina Nadine Smith has advanced to the second round of the ITF W15K in Cairo after defeating Stephanie Kent 6-3, 6-3. The seventh seed was far too good for her American counterpart, winning 15 more total points for the match.
Jamiee Fourlis is through to the second round of the ITF W60K in Olomouc after a straight-sets win over local Czech Julie Struplova 6-4, 7-5 in two hours and 20 minutes. The Aussie came back from a 2-5 deficit in the second set to force the tiebreak which she won narrowly.
Unfortunately, Seone Mendez had to retire from her match against Jessica Pieri trailing 0-2 in the first set.
Aussie Alana Parnaby and her Japanese doubles partner Nagi Hanatani are through to the quarters in Olomouc after defeating Jesika Maleckova and Miriam Kolodziejova 6-4, 6-4 in an hour and 17 minutes.
Olivia Tjandramulia was knocked out of the ITF W25K in Telavi overnight after succumbing to eighth seed Darya Astakhova 5-7, 3-6. It is the second time in a week that Tjandramulia has lost to the Russian after going down in last weeks tournament, also in the second round.
Olivia Gadecki and partner Anastasia Kulikova are through to the semis at the ITF 25K in Les-Contamines-Montjoie after defeating Flavie Brugnone ad Leolia Jeanjean 6-2, 7-6(0) in an hour and 13 minutes.
