Overnight, the draw was conducted for the 2020 Davis Cup Finals, set to be held in Madrid in November.
After qualifying for the finals with a win over Brazil last week, Australia have been drawn to face fourth seed Croatia and Hungary in Group D.
Australia have only faced Hungary once, which saw Hungary win the tie in the first round of the world group in 1995.
Australia defeated Croatia in their only meeting in the first round of the world group in 1996.
If Australia win Group D, they would advance to the quarterfinals, set to face the winner of Group E – which features fifth-seeded United States, Italy and Colombia.
The Davis Cup Finals will be played at La Caja Magica in Madrid from 23-29 November.
