The top 15 in the ATP rankings went unchanged this week, but a lot happened outside of those 15 spots. Cristian Garin has entered the top 20 for the first time in his career. The Chilean reached a shiny new career high ranking of 18 following his Rio Open title.

There were some significant ranking jumps as a result of the Delray Beach Open. Reilly Opelka reentered the top 40 after claiming the title, up to 39 in the ranks, just eight spots away from his career high. For the Delray runner up Yoshihito Nishioka, he would enter the top 50 for the first time. Nishioka jumped 15 spots to earn a new career high ranking of 48, just one spot below Alexander Bublik who sits at a new career high of 47.

Belarusian Egor Gerasimov continues his stunning rise up the ranks, up to a career high 65. Tommy Paul, Mikael Ymer and Soonwoo Kwon were also amongst players in the top 100 to reach new career high ranks. Paul up to 66, Ymer jumped three spots to 72 and Kwon jumped six spots, achieving a new career high of 76 respectively.

But perhaps the biggest movers came as a result of the Rio Open, with two fresh faces inside the top 100 for the first time. Italian Gianluca Mager has jumped a whopping 51 spots to a new career high ranking of 77 after making the final in Rio. Hungarian Attila Balazs also jumped, rising 27 spots to a career high of 79.

On the downfall, Laslo Djere suffered the most significant rankings drop, down 31 spots to 67 after failing to defend his Rio title.

Argentinian Federico Coria edges close to a top 100 berth, up 12 spots to a career high 104 and Spaniard Pedro Martinez also edged closer, up 20 spots to a career high 113.

Dutchman Botic Van De Zandschlup is up 33 spots to 171 and promising Austrian Jurij Rodionov is up 58 spots to 172.

After breakouts in Rio, Brazilian teenager Thiago Seyboth Wild is inside the top 200 for the first time, up to a career high 182 and 16 year old Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz has jumped 92 spots to a career high 314.

On the WTA side, Belinda Bencic failing to defend her Dubai title caused a reshuffle in the top 10. Bencic dropped five spots to number nine, Bianca Andreescu jumped a spot, back to her career high of number four. Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin is up to a career high number five and Kiki Bertens jumped to six. Elina Svitolina dropped to seven and Serena Williams rose one spot to eight.

20 year old Elena Rybakina is up to a career high of 17 after making the final in Dubai and Maria Sankari enters the top 20 for the first time, up to a career high 20.

Ons Jabeur continues to ride the wave after a brilliant start to 2020, up to a career high 44. Jennifer Brady is also at a career high, up to 45, but perhaps the most exciting jump is that of Coco Gauff. The 15 year old has enterered the top 50 for the very first time, jumping to a career high 49 in the ranks.

Fiona Ferro is up to a career high 52 and Patricia Maria Tig sits at a career high 81 respectively.
