25 year old Australian Li Tu has been used to winning tennis matches in the last two years and that has continued this past week in Monastir, Tunisia where he has claimed the ITF 15K title in his first week back on the road for 2021.

The South Australian who earned an Australian Open Wildcard back in February (took former World No 12 Feliciano Lopez to four sets) as reward for his outstanding UTR form through 2020/21 is embarking on take two of his professional tennis career.

After playing more UTR's post the Australian Open, he took off from Australia a couple of weeks ago to get himself back on the international stage. His winning record is now 74/8 the last two years in singles playing a combination of UTR's, the Murray River Open/Australian Open and now 8/0 ITF's in the last week coming from qualifying to win the title.

Brett Phillips has caught up with Li to talk about his week in Tunisia and his road back.
