The First Serve returned to the airwaves as the 2021 Australian Open came to a close.
Host Brett Philips was joined by The Age tennis reporter Scott Spits to dissect the two weeks and analyse the major talking points.
The phone lines were open and prizes were on offer as per usual, with a number of Victorians calling in to discuss the tournament from several different angles.
To wrap up the show, world no.53 Shelby Rogers joined Brett Phillips from Memorial Drive, where the Adelaide International is being hosted this week.
I"t's definitely been a long trip, but it's been nice. We got to have some fans in the stands and play some really good tennis, and fortunately I've been able to win a lot of matches.
It's nice for us because Australia is so far, so we travel all this way, it's nice to have a bunch of tournaments in a row. We try to stay as long as we can and enjoy the beautiful cities. It's my first time in Adelaide so I'm very excited to be here and I want to stay as long as I can," Rogers said.
