Being the only dedicated tennis program on Australian commercial radio, The First Serve is set to expand its AM Radio coverage into the Sydney market in 2021, with tennis fans able to tune in via 1170am for the very first time in the Harbour City.
The First Serve will return on Monday 1st February 2021, once again also broadcasting on 1116am Melbourne and 1629am Adelaide and will also be unveiled on 1170am Sydney heard each week from 8-9pm Eastern. Apart from the AM Radio dial, The First Serve can also be heard anywhere via the SEN App (download to your phone) or via sen.com.au

In the lead up to the 2021 Australian Open, there will be a special two hour edition from 6-8pm on February 7th. During the 2021 AO there will be a special 6pm Eastern edition of The First Serve across the fortnight (8th and 15th February) leading into live commentary and during the 2021 French Open, Wimbledon and US Opens there will be 90 minutes editions from 8-9.30pm Eastern.
Brett Phillips will once again front the show to be joined by many contributors who will be unveiled in the weeks to come. The show will continue to cover tennis from the elite to the grassroots in Australia and abroad and looks forward to hearing from the passionate tennis community every week on 1300 736 736.
Aside from our weekly one hour tennis program, The First Serve radio brand will deliver a 5 minute weekly tennis wrap each Monday afternoon also from February 1st on 1116am Melbourne, 1629am Adelaide and 1170am Sydney, as well as programming updates & commentary from all 4 Grand Slams.
In 2021, we will also continue to deliver our themed podcasts with Aussies Only, Crunching the Numbers and In the Huddle all returning to be joined by a new Grassroots focused podcast, State Focused Podcasts, My Tennis Life talking to a variety of people about their life in tennis, The next step with a focus on the lower levels of the tours and Women in Focus to name a few with the aim of bringing all tennis lovers plenty of listening content choice.
