The First Serve is your home of tennis as we expand our coverage for 2023, covering the game from the grassroots to the elite here in Australia and the globe.
Our live radio show will go into its 15th year, hosted by Brett Phillips. Yes we are a live radio show, not just a podcast as we hear many people refer to it as, the only one of its kind on commercial radio in Australia and around the world with a dedicated weekly tennis radio program taking your talkback calls - 1300 736 736 and texts - 0433 98 1116 in live time.
The great news is our show will have an extra hour in 2023 to become a two hour program from 8-10pm Eastern each Monday Night, commencing back on the 30th January for 44 weeks until the end of November. You can listen on 1116am Melbourne, 1629am Adelaide, 1170am Sydney, 693am Brisbane, 1620am Gold Coast, 1611am Darwin, 1629am Hobart, SEN WA, SENZ in New Zealand station guide online at www.sen.com.au and via the SEN App which you can download to your phone and listen to us anywhere while your mobile if you can't find an AM Radio Frequency.
If you miss our show live, you can listen back to the podcast version via your preferred podcast platform - apple, spotify, google etc. All our shows are also arvived at our website where you can back and listen.
In addition to our weekly radio show we will also bring you again our themed podcasts from 2022 - Aussies Only, The Grind, Play USA, Crunching the Numbers, What are you Doing Here and the SA Scene. We will also add in 2023 two more state based podcasts (Victoria and Tasmania), The Pathway, Padel Time and Match of my Career. Plenty of listening content with our radio show and specific podcasts in 2023.
As well as continuing to cover the ATP, WTA, ATP Challenger and ITF Tours tracking the Aussies around the globe we will go grow our overall tennis coverage and go more in depth with our week to week coverage of College, Wheelchair, Juniors, Masters and the new Australian Competitive Play tournaments.
Our Main Social Media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) will continue to tick over daily with all the latest tennis with our intention to grow our Youtube and Tiktok content. Follow The First Serve on social media and you won't miss a beat.
