Tennis entertainer and Miami Open 30th seed Corentin Moutet has fired back at Danielle Collins regarding claims that he slid into the American's DMs and unfollowed her.

Appearing on the desk as a Tennis Channel analyst following a persistent back injury and completing egg-freezing procedures, Collins continued with the show's new segment, Storytime with Danielle.

Listen to The First Serve Live every Monday at 8pm AEDT in its 18th year on the SEN Network/App, Australia's only dedicated weekly tennis program on commercial radio running through till the end of November.

The former Australian Open finalist claimed that Moutet was flirting with her at the Miami Open, with co-host Steve Weissman revealing that the world No.33 was "cat-calling" Collins.

"I basically said to him, 'If you're gonna be flirting with me like that, you're gonna have to get a bigger serve,'" Collins said to her co-hosts.

"Some people think it comes down to height, some people think it comes down to personality, but really what it comes down to is big forehands and big serves."

She added on air that it's "kind of funny because he [Moutet] unfollowed me when I said I wasn't interested in the short kings".

"He was upset about that — he messaged me and then unfollowed me," she said, before adding that he "slid back into the DMs last night".

Moutet hadn't posted on X since May last year. However, the Frenchman wasted no time in responding to Collins' "BS" story.

"How can I unfollow you when I never followed you?" wrote Moutet on X.

"@TennisChannel how can you let someone say BS like this on TV?"

Moutet is 5'11 (180cm), while Collins is 5'10 (178cm) in height.

"Some people hate it, some people love it, but you care and that's really all that matters," Weissman said to Tennis Channel viewers when confirming the segment would be returning.

Collins made herself public enemy number one at the 2025 Australian Open, when she taunted the KIA Arena crowd after her victory against Aussie Destanee Aiava.

Moutet continues his Miami Open campaign when he faces world No.2 Jannik Sinner in the third round.
