Australia's Maya Joint and Taylah Preston have achieved a 13-year first after they won the doubles title at a WTA125 event in Mexico.
Joint and Preston dropped one set for the tournament in Cancún, defeating the No.2 and No.4 seeds along the way.
The talented teenage partnership proved a class above in the final against Spanish pair Yvonne Cavalle-Reimers and Aliona Bolsova, winning 6-4 6-3 in 79 minutes.
As a result, they made history by becoming the second teenage doubles team since Kristina Mladenovic and Chan Hao-Ching in 2012 to win a doubles tournament at 125 level.
Joint, 18, and Preston, 19, also become the third and sixth youngest players to capture a WTA125 doubles title.
