Wimbledon top-seed Jannik Sinner has downplayed a sudden split with two members of his team, offering reassurance that "nothing big happened".
On Saturday, surprising reports emerged that the world No.1 had parted ways with fitness trainer Marco Panichi and physiotherapist Ulises Badio on the eve of Wimbledon.

Sinner confirmed the news in his pre-tournament press conference, insisting that alarm bells shouldn't sound.
"We've reached incredible results in the past with them, so obviously huge thanks to them. We made some great (results), but I decided to do something different," he told the media.
"There's not one specific thing. Nothing crazy happened. That's for sure.
"In this sport, things can happen. There is nothing incredible, because sometimes a player feels something different, and that's my case."
In August 2024, the Italian released fitness coach Umberto Ferrara and physio Giacomo Naldi from his team following two positive drug tests in March of that same year.
The 23-year-old begins his Wimbledon campaign against a familiar face, Italy's Luca Nardi, in the first-round.
With a few weeks to digest a pulsating Roland-Garros final, Sinner is in a clear headspace despite letting three consecutive championship points slip in Paris.
"I feel good. I feel especially mentally I feel in a very good spot," he shared.
"Halle was a little bit different, because before, I haven't had so much time to cut that off. Now it's gone, and I see also the reactions of other players and people, they [said] the level is very, very high. Just privileged to be in this position."
