DJOKOVIC REIGNS SUPREME AT SW19

Novak Djokovic has come from a set down to defeat Nick Kyrgios 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6(3), claiming his 21st Grand Slam singles title and his seventh at Wimbledon.

"I've lost words for what this tournament and what this trophy means to me. It always has been the most special tournament. It was the one that motivated me to play tennis. Every time this tournament gets more special and meaningful," Djokovic said post-match.

In his grand slam final debut, Kyrgios brought an incredible level to Centre Court, slamming down a whopping 30 aces to go with 62 winners, and 73% of first serves in, but it was Djokovic's relentless play all day that led him to glory, hitting just 17 errors, whilst he noticeably took his serve to another level, winning 83% of points on his first serve.

"He's a bit of a god, I'm not going to lie, I thought I played well," Kyrgios said in his post match on-court interview.

The Serb moves up to second in the overall Grand Slam champions tally with 21 trophies in his cabinet, just one short of Rafael Nadal with 22.
