Australia will be represented by 17 players in the Wimbledon main draw after four Aussies prevailed in the final round of qualifying.

It ties the record for the most Australians present at the All England Club main draw back in 1995.

In her seventh attempt, Priscilla Hon earned her ticket to the big dance, saving an astonishing five match points against rising Canadian star Victoria Mboko 4-6, 7-6(4), 6-1.

Wimbledon was the only major that the 27-year-old Queenslander hadn't qualified for up until yesterday's result.

"Honestly, right now I'm pretty lost for words, especially when I didn't think I was going to win the match," Hon told The First Serve after her thrilling roller-coaster.

"Apparently I was down five match points, but I only remember three of them, so I was just trying to think point by point, and somehow I got the win."

She wasn't the only Aussie to save a match point at Roehampton, as 24th seed Talia Gibson secured a hard-fought 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 triumph over Argentina's Solana Sierra.

The win ensures Gibson will feature in her second-ever Grand Slam main draw after making her debut at this year's Australian Open.

In the men's results, James McCabe delivered the goods in two tiebreaks to cause the upset over fifth-seed Marcelo Tomas Barrios Vera 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(5), 7-6(7).

The world No.185 hopes to surpass the Wimbledon first-round as he did at the Australian Open during his maiden Slam main draw appearance.

Meanwhile, Alex Bolt cruised to a straight sets result as he toppled Spain's Martín Landaluce 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.

Bolt, 32, achieved his best Wimbledon result six years ago when he reached the second-round.

The official draw for the Wimbledon Championships is set to commence Friday 7pm AEST.
