GAME ON RECYCLING PLAYING THEIR PART

Adrian Salerno, Sustainability Project Manager with Amer Sports (Wilson) / Game On Recycling was a recent special guest on The First Serve.

Game On Recycling is a pilot program that aims to create a national recycling scheme for sports equipment. That means rather than being thrown into landfills, tennis balls, basketballs, snowsports and many other types of equipment will be recycled.

Each piece of equipment that is recycled goes to saving the planet and our environment. There are over 300 Tennis collection locations across Australia.

Over the past 12 months:

  • Over 4 tonnes of Tennis Balls & Equipment collected so far

  • Est 10 tonnes of equipment across the entire program collected

  • Promising research & industry developments with producing a full tennis court in the pipeline.

  • The program is endorsed by Tennis Australia, Tennis Vic, Tennis NSW, Tennis SA, Tennis QLD & Tennis TAS with each entity to deliver what each organisation needs to collect as much equipment as possible!

There are two key promotions going ahead:

The first is a Racket Trade-In promotion by Wilson, powered by Game On Recycling. ($50 off Clash v2, Ultra v4, Blade v8 or Pro Staff v13 rackets for returning your old racket/rackets for recycling online or instore)

By going online at au.wilson.com to purchase a racket or walking into any participating retailers, you can donate & recycle as many old rackets as you have, in any condition, and receive “$50 trade-in on any adult Clash v2, Ultra v4, Blade v8 or Pro Staff v13 tennis racket”. “Excludes Limited Edition Rackets and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer”

All tennis lovers are encouraged who might need an upgrade for the summer of tennis to get in quick and help score a point for planet earth as this promotion will only last for a limited time throughout 2022!

The Second is Collect-A-Palooza! a nationwide competition for all clubs, schools and organisations to collect the most tennis equipment in November to win a share of over $4500 worth of Wilson prizes!

Every organisation who is already participating in game on recycling is already entered into the contest, and any other clubs may join before it’s too late!

  • Clubs will compete in 1 of 2 competitions – The Rock Comp (orgs with 8 courts or less) or the Star Comp (orgs with 9 courts or more) to become the ultimate recycling rockstars!

  • Clubs score 1 point for every ball they return, 100 for every racket and 200 for a social media post (tagging their club and Game On Recycling)

  • The top 5 from each competition will win the share of $4500 worth of Wilson goods!

  • Top prize for each competition is 2 boxes of trinity pro’s, a $250 Wilson voucher & Club kit with Grips, dampeners and more!

Top payout casinos are among the best internet gaming destinations, known to yield the highest return-to-player rate. Whenever it comes to casinos, a player can get a greater frequency of winning, making it the ultimate destination for casual gamers and serious players alike. These casinos are chosen based on their highly impressive payout percentages-mostly above 95% and their commitments to getting the wins in the hands of players as fast and securely as possible from home, by using reliable and quick withdrawal options.

It is not only favorable odds that make Top Payout Casinos more attractive but also the wide range of options concerning types of games played. The most popular ones include pokies, blackjack, roulette, and live dealer games…

Recycling efforts are crucial for sustainability, and the efficient handling of materials can make a significant difference. One tool that greatly aids in this process is the strap machine. By securely bundling recyclable materials, a strap machine ensures that items are neatly packed and ready for transport or further processing. This efficiency not only saves time but also enhances the overall recycling process, making it more streamlined and effective. It's encouraging to see how modern technology supports environmental efforts and helps create a greener future for everyone.
