Maya Joint has exacted revenge on one of Britain's main hopes, causing another boilover at the Eastbourne Open ahead of Wimbledon.
The teenage talent came up clutch in the deciding set tiebreak against former US Open winner Emma Raducanu, prevailing 4-6, 6-1, 7-6(4).

Joint lost the pair's first meeting in Rome at the start of May, which also went the distance.
"Today was really tough, there was a lot of up and downs, lot of momentum switches, but I'm really glad that I was able to tough it out in the end," Joint said, who sealed the win with an ace.
"I'm really glad I was able to win this one. I definitely try to hit the lines. Doesn't always work, so I'm glad it worked today.
"I think I'm an aggressive player, I like to use my backhand and [I'm] trying to learn how to play all-court."
She backed up her previous victory over two-time Wimbledon finalist Ons Jabeur, giving the Aussie confidence ahead of the main draw at the All England Club.
As it stands in the live WTA rankings, Joint sits 50th in the world.
A quarter-final matchup against the unseeded Anna Blinkova begins not before 9:50pm AEST on Thursday.
