28-year-old Brit Harriet Dart has apologised after asking the umpire if her opponent can wear deodorant because she "smells really bad".
Dart fell to France's Lois Boisson 6-0 6-3 at the Open de Rouen, a WTA 250 event hosted on clay.

Dart told the umpire mid-match: "Can you tell her to wear deodorant? … Because she smells really bad."
The No.4 British player opted to send a message on social media after the match to condemn her behaviour.
"I want to apologise for what I said on court today. It was a heat-of-the-moment comment that I truly regret," she explained.
"That's not how I want to carry myself, and I take full responsibility. I have a lot of respect for Lois and how she competed today.
"I'll learn from this and move forward."
But Boisson found the humour in it all, providing the perfect response with a photoshopped image of her holding a deodorant stick, asking Dove to sponsor her.
"@Dove apparently need a collab," she wrote with two laughing emojis.
