16-year-old Cruz Hewitt is showing no signs of slowing down after taking out the second-seed at an ITF Tour event in Launceston to reach the semi-finals.
Hewitt, ranked No.1174, defeated world No.224 Yu Hsiou Hsu of Taiwan 7-5 7-5.
After the win, the teenager shared his delight in an Instagram post uploaded by Tennis Tasmania.
"Hey everyone, just won my quarter-final match, through to the semi-finals," he said.
"Super proud with another win. Thanks to everyone who came out to support, and hopefully you can come out tomorrow."
The 66th ranked junior won through his previous two matches from a set down against Australian opposition, including Dane Sweeney in the round of 16.
