World No.1 Jannik Sinner has been sighted in his first 'official' practice since being banned from professional tennis for three months.

The three-time major winner was seen hitting with Britain's Jack Draper on the clay at the Beaulieu-sur-Mer Club in France.

Sinner was ineligible to participate in 'official training' from February 9 until April 13.

The Italian failed two doping tests at last year's Indian Wells event due to containing one billionth of a gram of an anabolic steroid, Clostebol.

An independent hearing convened by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) found that Sinner bore "no fault or negligence" for the positive tests, but was still held responsible for his team's actions.

He will return in time for the Rome Masters in the second week of May in the lead-up to Roland-Garros.

During the course of his ban, Sinner will have missed four Masters 1000 tournaments once the Madrid Open comes to a close.
