Mirra Andreeva defeated Victoria Mboko, and Tomas Machac took down Ugo Humbert in the final warm-up tournament in Adelaide before the Australian Open.

Andreeva was clinical in beating Mboko 6-3 6-1, with Mboko struggling with injury, while Machac defeated Humbert in a tightly contested 6-4 6-7 6-2 victory.

In the first match of the day, Mboko raced to a 3-0 lead before Andreeva’s defensive skills began to overwhelm the Canadian as the former Australian Open girls finalist notched up a comprehensive victory.

"I'm just super happy to win [the] title in Adelaide. I saw that Vicky, she played great in the beginning, and then I saw her struggling a little bit physically. I also hope that she can recover in time for Melbourne. She's an amazing player, so I was just also happy to share the final with her," said Andreeva.

"I mean, of course, today didn't go my way," Mboko confessed. "Mirra played such incredible tennis. Unfortunately, I didn't really wake up feeling the best today. I feel like, looking back at this week, there's so many positives I can take away. Especially the draw, getting to here, playing such great players, top-10 players, Grand Slam champions. I feel like there's so much I can learn, and there's so much I can be grateful for this week."

Mboko appeared to cast some doubt on her fitness ahead of her first-round match against Australian Emerson Jones in Melbourne, suggesting that she would do what she could to be ready.

"I'm just doing as much as I can for recovery right now, so that I can feel the best I can for Melbourne. I can only control the best I can how I'm doing. Right now, I just want to recover well. I have a day off tomorrow, and then I start again on Monday. So we'll see. I just want to try to be as ready as I possibly can on Monday," she revealed.

Machac started strongly against Humbert, recovering a break deficit to take the first set before Humbert took the second set tiebreak with some inspired play, leaving Machac frustrated and ranting at his box. The toll of the week started to tell on Humbert in the third set, with Machac taking it 6-2 to win his second title.

"I was very happy with the performance what I was playing the whole week. I think the level of the tennis was pretty high. I'm so glad that I could hold it all week," said Machac.

"So, especially today, Ugo was playing great tennis as always. In the end of the tournaments, he's playing always great, so I prepared for that very well. In the third set, I bring a great level of tennis, and I manage to break him first time in the third set, and I just keep the strong level."

Humbert added: "I was not really fresh, because last night I finished my match late. I felt, at the end of the second set, when we started the third one, I have a little bit less energy. But he didn't give me anything, so just congratulations to him. It was a close one, but he was better, so congrats."
