Rinky Hijikata is one of three Aussies, including wildcard receivers Tristan Schoolkate and Destanee Aiava, to commence their respective French Open tournaments on Sunday night AEST.

You can catch all of the action live on Stan Sport and the Nine Network.

Aussie men Day 1 - Sunday

Tristan Schoolkate [WC] v Márton Fucsovics (7pm AEST) Rinky Hijikata v Reilly Opelka (Not before 8:10pm AEST)

Both inexperienced when it comes to main draw action at the French Open, Tristan Schoolkate and Rinky Hijikata have the chance to progress to the second-round for the first time in Paris.

Fucsovics has entered six more clay tournaments than Schoolkate in 2025, but a four or five-set marathon could be a real possibility.

Hijikata qualified for his first Roland-Garros main draw 12 months ago, but despite the red dirt not being Opelka's favourite surface, the big-serving American defeated Hijikata last month at the Madrid Masters in straight sets, in what was their only meeting.

Other notable men's matches - Day 1

Lorenzo Musetti [8] v Yannick Hanfmann Tommy Paul [12] v Elmer Møller

Ben Shelton [13] v Lorenzo Sonego

Aussie women Day 2 - Sunday

Destanee Aiava [WC] v Dayana Yastremska (Not before 8:10pm AEST)

Last year's Australian Open semi-finalist Dayana Yastremska guarantees a tricky assignment for Destanee Aiava in her first main draw appearance at Roland-Garros.

Aiava, 25, has previously failed to get past the first-round of French Open qualifying in three attempts, but could end her Paris losing streak in her first meeting with Yastremska.

The Aussie, ranked No.157, caught up with The First Serve on the eve of her match, expressing her intention to enjoy the experience "no matter how it goes".

Other notable women's matches - Day 1

Aryna Sabalenka [1] v Kamilla Rakhimova

Jasmine Paolini [4] v Yue Yuan

Donna Vekić [18] v Anna Blinkova

Linda Nosková [29] v Anastasia Potapova
