HEWITT ONE OF 18 CAPTAINS TO LEAD AT THE UNITED CUP

Two-time Davis Cup winner Lleyton Hewitt has been confirmed as Australia's captain for the 2025 United Cup, with 17 other captains named.


Hewitt will partake in his third United Cup campaign as captain of the green and gold, who are paired in a tough group alongside Great Britain and Argentina.


Former French Open champion Iva Majoli will captain Croatia in another star coaching name, while Christian Ruud, father of three-time major finalist Casper, will be on the bench for Norway.


Off the back of receiving the 2024 WTA Coach of the Year Award for his stunning work with Jasmine Paolini, Renzo Furlan will captain the Italians in the hope of going one better than runners-up in 2023.


Defending champions Germany will be led by Alexander Zverev Sr in a bid to become the first nation to go back-to-back.
