The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has announced the biggest economic prize pool that the sport has ever seen.
This year’s tournament at Flushing Meadows will offer $75 million USD in player compensation - an increase of 15 per cent from 2023.
The men's and women's singles champions will earn a raise from $3 million to $3.6 million USD, while players who fail to exceed the opening round of the main draw in both men's and women's singles will pocket $100,000 USD to mark a 23 per cent increase from 12 months ago.

Also, the USTA announced that due to the Paralympic Games in Paris, there will be no US Open Wheelchair Championships held.
