Despite a semi-final showing at the Australian Open and finishing runner-up at the Miami Masters, it's been an underwhelming campaign for Djokovic, bowing out of the opening round in four separate tournaments.
"Thank you, coach Andy, for all the hard work, fun & support over [the] last six months on & off the court," Djokovic posted on social media. "I really enjoyed deepening our friendship together."
Three-time Slam winner Murray added: "Thanks to Novak for the unbelievable opportunity to work together and thanks to his team for all their hard work over the past six months. I wish Novak all the best for the rest of the season."
World No.6 Djokovic has accepted a wildcard to compete at the Geneva Open, an ATP 250 event leading into Roland-Garros.
