World No.89 doubles player Storm Hunter has revealed the injury she suffered, which forced her to withdraw from Wimbledon.
On Friday, the former doubles No.1 announced via Instagram that she would be ineligible to compete at the All England Club.
"It's heartbreaking to miss Wimby for a second year in a row," she wrote. "Coming back to compete at this special place was one of the biggest motivators for me last year during rehab. But sometimes life doesn't go to plan and you just have to roll with the punches."

The 30-year-old is currently on the ground at SW19 supporting her fellow Aussies and took the opportunity to shed light on her absence.
"I sustained a rib injury last week while preparing for Eastbourne, and tried to get fit and healthy to play here, but unfortunately timing wasn't on our side," Hunter told Stan Sport's Grand Slam Daily.
"Missing the opportunity to play Wimbledon for the second year in a row really sucks. It's very heartbreaking.
"I'm still very grateful to be here. Last year I was doing rehab with my Achilles, so I'm definitely happy to be here, but unfortunately not on the grass."
In April last year, Hunter ruptured her Achilles in the middle of practice for Australia's Billie Jean King Cup qualifier against Mexico at Pat Rafter Arena.
She returned to the competitive scene in February at Texas' ATX Open in the first of 10 tournament entries this year, in a mixture of doubles and singles.
